Preparation
How to plan for your proposal 101? That will be included in a separate blog post. However, I can explain how this young man planned his once in a lifetime question, from out of state!
Tristin and his (now fiancé) are from out of state, and planned to visit Nashville. (the best place to propose right?). He contacted me, and gave a description of what he'd like as far as proposal setting. We worked together and collectively landed on Radnor State Park. This is SUCH a beautiful state park, but I was required to attain a photography permit prior to. Thankfully, all permits were approved, and we were ready to go!
Planning
Since Radnor State Park is absolutely massive, we had to establish a specific area for Tristin to propose. We found this beautiful walkway by the water and knew this was the perfect spot! Since Tristin had never been to Nashville, or Radnor State Park, I actually drew out a map of exactly how to get to "the spot" and established a set time.
the big question
I arrived to our "spot" a few minutes early to ensure I was set before Tristin and his fiancé arrived. This way I could sneakily see them walking toward the water, and capture some sneaky shots as they arrived. Once in place, Tristin kneeled to one knee and asked his most exciting question of his life! Of course she said "yes!"
engagement session
Following the actual proposal, we let the newly engaged capture a few posed, candid, and exciting photos together. These will be perfect to share with friends and family about the big news!
